Unit 4 ~ Content: ICF Approaches to Mentoring Conversations

One of the best ways to improve our communication skills is to become more intentional in the way we communicate. The I-C-F communication framework, based on the work of Carl Glickman, offers some guidance on how to to do just that.

Let’s explore the I-C-F framework through the following activity:

1) Download this worksheet in order to complete the activity on the following screencast. 

2) Watch the SCREENCAST  to find out more about this framework and how to use it to guide your mentoring conversations to make them more productive.

3) Pause the screencast when prompted and complete the worksheet you downloaded. 

4) Restart the screencast and compare your responses to the sample activity shared in the screencast.
