Effectively supporting learning for all students requires teamwork, and being an effective team member requires a collaborative disposition. A “collaborative disposition” for a paraeducator means actively engaging as a team player, openly communicating with the teacher, readily sharing observations and insights about students, and being receptive to feedback to best support student learning within the classroom, all while aligning with the teacher’s instructional plan and classroom management style.Â
